Research built from the inside of finance.

I write and invest from two vantage points at once: three decades inside finance organizations, and a long-running interest in who actually owns a company — and what that ownership is doing. I currently serve as Managing Director of Logos Consulting LLC and CFO of Logos Asset Management Inc.

The Lens

Operator first. Analyst always.

Most of my career was spent building and running finance functions — at early-stage companies and at organizations operating across nine countries. That work taught me how capital is raised, how boards actually decide, and how numbers get bent, cleaned, or ignored before they ever reach a filing. I have extensive experience across SEC filings and the full primary and secondary research report flow — from source documents through published notes.

Major Holders is where that experience turns outward. I study businesses the way I used to prepare them for investors: ownership structure, capital allocation, unit economics, and the incentives sitting behind the press release. The goal is not a service menu. It is a public notebook — research, models, and notes I would want to read myself.

Background

What shaped the work.

More than $100M+ in venture financing raised alongside founders, strategic investors, lenders, and boards — then years of living with the consequences of those decisions. Over the past few years I have also invested and traded more than a few billion dollars across public markets. That cycle, plus deep work in SEC filings and primary and secondary research report flow, is the raw material for how I now look at markets.

Managing Director
Logos Consulting LLC
2021 – Present

Lead client work across finance, capital markets, and research — the same operator lens that shapes Major Holders: ownership, capital allocation, and decision-ready analysis for boards and investors.

CFO
Logos Asset Management Inc.
2025 – Present

Oversee finance and capital for the asset-management side of the platform — investing and trading activity, reporting discipline, and the operational backbone behind the book.

CFO
Point2 Technology
2017 – 2024

Joined from the earliest investment stages and built the finance function as the company scaled. Led capital raising that brought in strategic backers including Molex, Samsung, and Bosch, and prepared the board-level analysis behind multi-million-dollar allocation decisions. Sitting on that side of the table is still how I read a cap table, a raise, and a forecast.

Research
Major Holders
Ongoing

Independent research on companies, capital flows, and ownership. The name is literal: I care about major holders — 13F filings, insider activity, strategic investors, and the quiet changes in who controls a name. The workflow runs through SEC filings and primary and secondary research report flow end to end. Most of the research is done with AI — I design the prompts, guide the analysis, and review every output before it is published. The judgment stays mine; the speed comes from the models. Follow the owners, then follow the cash.

How I Work

What the research is.

Ownership Analysis

13Fs, insiders, strategic holders, and the incentives that come with a concentrated book.

Fundamental Research

SEC filings, primary and secondary research report flow, unit economics, and the few numbers that actually change a thesis.

Capital Allocation

How management spends, raises, and returns capital — and whether the story matches the cash.

Models & Scenarios

Excel and Tableau work built the way I built board packs: simple, stress-tested, decision-ready.

Private-to-Public

Reading venture-backed companies with an operator’s eye for burn, dilution, and the next round.

AI-Assisted Research

Most of the drafting and data work runs through AI. I prompt, guide, and review — then put my name on it.

Read the work.
